Carolyn W. Woods
President and Executive Director
Carolyn W. Woods is a lifelong resident of Terrebonne Parish whose life reflects a deep and enduring commitment to caring for others. With more than forty three years of nursing experience spanning emergency care, mental health, hospice, case management, infection control, and long term care, she has also served in leadership as a Director of Nursing, guiding teams through complex and emotionally sensitive work. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Associate of Science in Child Development, a blend of clinical expertise and child focused training that shapes how she cares for both the physical and emotional needs of those she serves. At the center of her world is family. She is the mother of six, including a child she lovingly fostered and adopted, grandmother to twenty one, and great grandmother to ten, and she and her husband have shared forty three years of marriage grounded in faith and generational love. Compassionate, steady, and fiercely protective of children, Carolyn brings the board a rare blend of clinical wisdom, executive experience, and child development insight, and a heart that has spent a lifetime nurturing others.
Anthony Rainey Sr.
Vice Chairman
Anthony Rainey Sr. is a lifelong resident of South Louisiana, raised in Orleans and Terrebonne Parishes. He is a 1986 graduate of H. L. Bourgeois High School and a 1989 graduate of Delgado Community College. Anthony and his wife, Michelle, have been married for 39 years and share six children together. He is a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, where he serves on the deacon board, and he is a certified foster parent through the State of Louisiana. His heart for children and families makes him a steadfast advocate for the mission of Safe Harbor.
Kaydi LeCompte
Treasurer
Kaydi LeCompte is a dedicated business professional, entrepreneur, and community advocate with more than twenty years of experience in business management, budgeting, accounting, and event planning. She brings Safe Harbor strong organizational, financial, and leadership skills that support sound fiscal accountability and well run programs. A proud mother and grandmother with a heart for children and families, she believes every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and thrive, and she is committed to programs that foster education, creativity, and personal development.
Sonya Celestin
Secretary
Sonya Celestin brings more than twenty years of experience as a medical oncology assistant, along with a deep heart for family and community. A devoted mother and grandmother, she is an active member of Saint Luke Baptist Church, where she serves on the usher board, and she enjoys bowling in her local tri parish league.

Stephanie Williams-Ausama
Director
Stephanie Williams-Ausama loves pouring into the next generation. A former youth softball and cheer coach, she now serves as a line dance instructor, volunteers with her public library, and chairs the Junior Debutants in her Social and Civic Club, mentoring young ladies through their debutant journey. She holds a degree in criminal justice, spent five years in the juvenile justice system, and leads with discipline, heart, and service. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she is a caring advocate for sickle cell warriors and an active member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church in Houma, where she sings in the choir and takes part in Couples Ministry.
JoAnn Pollard
Director
JoAnn Falls Pollard is a devoted community servant and a graduate of Terrebonne High School who went on to study at Southern University at New Orleans and earn a business degree from Columbus College in Columbus, Georgia. She and her husband, Joseph, have been married for 54 years. JoAnn gives her time to many causes close to her heart, serving on the Board of Trustees at First Baptist Church and taking part in the Terrebonne Parish Women's Day Association, the Fifth District Women's Auxiliary of Louisiana, Women Among Women of New Orleans, Women In Need, the NAACP, the YMCA, and Relay for Life. A proud cancer survivor of 17 years, she carries a deep and unconditional love for children and the elderly. Her greatest joy is sharing her blessings with the people she loves, and that same spirit guides her service to the children of Safe Harbor.

Maxine Carlos
Director
Maxine Carlos brings a heart for children shaped by hands on advocacy. For about five years she served as a CASA, a court appointed special advocate, visiting children in need, speaking up for them in court, and bringing them goodie bags on holidays. A devoted mother and grandmother, she carries that same care for children into her work with Safe Harbor.
